For the Manda Plaza project, we sought to create a visually striking and iconic feature that would enhance the shopping experience and become a landmark within the space. In the world of architecture and design, the power of computation is revolutionizing how we create and visualize complex forms, and this image showcases the intricate beauty of generative design, a key tool in achieving our vision. Using Grasshopper, a visual programming language, our designers defined relationships and parameters, allowing the software to generate a range of design options for the plaza’s central sculpture. The result is a dynamic interplay between human intent and computational exploration, leading to innovative and often unexpected solutions, as seen in the striking facade element depicted here. This process allowed us to explore numerous iterations and refine the design to perfectly complement the surrounding architecture and public space.
Transportation, Installation, Finalization, and Inspection
